Briefing on the Supranational Emergency Mandate
Briefing Request: The Future of Global Security
The world is changing, and our current systems aren't keeping up with 21st-century crises. When one nation faces a major hit—whether it’s economic, environmental, or social—we all feel the impact. To address this, the Global Human Rights Taskforce (GHRTF) is proposing a new path forward: the Global Accountability and Supranational Integration Framework (GASIF).
Why This Matters Now
Traditional ways of handling global problems often leave a "power gap" that leads to chaos. We are proposing a Supranational Emergency Mandate. This would allow the UN to step in with binding authority during defined "Global States of Emergency," moving beyond simple recommendations to real, decisive action.
Key Parts of the Proposal
-
The "Triple-C" Trigger: A clear legal line for when this authority starts, focusing on Climate catastrophe, major Conflict, or economic Collapse.
-
Sovereignty Sharing: A new treaty where nations work together by pooling specific powers into a central UN branch to guarantee worldwide stability.
-
Unified Command Protocol (UCP): A plan to bring national military, digital, and financial strengths under one unified structure during a crisis.
-
Modernizing the UN: Using Article 109 of the UN Charter to update global governance for 2026–2030.
